Today’s picture is a bit of architectural detail:

A Stone Rose

This particular Stone Rose was not in the band.

Yes, I know it’s barely eight hours since I posted the last item, but there’s a rather more sensible piece on the BBC now, which is worth watching for a video clip showing an interview with Matt Smith and a clip from the first episode which looks very interesting.

Oh, and there’s a quote from Mr Stephen Moffatt Sir[1] on Matt’s performance, which made me smile in a happy geeky way:

David was sort of neat and fastidious like a humming bird. Matt is gangling and shambling – he’s like a terrible mess that somehow becomes elegant by magic.

He brings back genuine madness to the role of the Doctor – Matt’s Doctor is bonkers.

Now that’s what we want! Bonkers is good!

I think we can expect more stuff to be released over the next couple of weeks – this is being treated as a relaunch of the show, so all the publicity buttons will be getting pushed extra hard.
