One of those mildly silly internet test thingies came to my attention. The person who tweeted it admitted to writing like Dan Brown[1], so I clicked to have a look. Basically, you paste a lump of your writing into a box and it tells you which famous writer your work most resembles. Or something. I decided to feed it my moderately long post on the Doctor Who series finale, which made it come back with this result:

Which presumably means that hardly anyone gets past the first few sentences before muttering “what the photon is he on about?” and giving up in disgust….

Yes, I’m back at Losing it[1] HQ, which means that the daily reports will now come with added weight. Err, with added weight reports, that is. And the quite shocking news is that despite one or two[1] quite substantial restaurant meals, the odd big cooked breakfast and a glass or two of beer, my weight today is actually a wee bit less than it was before I left. Must have been all that walking I did…

It seems that while I was away, some work has been done on the former Trafalgar pub. But the big news is that demolition of the notorious car park will finally start on Monday 26 July.

And yes, I’ll be taking pictures!
