I’ve just noticed something quite nice.
I have a second screen connected to my iMac. Most of the time, I just park iTunes on the second screen, but it’s also useful if I’m working in two things at once – for instance when I’m comparing transactions in iBank with statements on bank websites, or where I’m using a spreadsheet with a list of old posts I need to edit, which is something I’m working through now for reasons I won’t bore you with right now. I have the spreadsheet open on the secondary display, with Google Chrome on the main one – not having to keep switching applications saves a bit of time. Anyway, what I’ve noticed is that the iMac (not sure if this is the OS or Microsoft Office, to be honest) remembers where I last opened each document, so when I reopen the list of posts to edit, it appears on the secondary screen where I last used it, while the other spreadsheet I often open reappears on the main screen, where I’m expecting it.
