After our last breakfast at the B&B[1], we started on the journey back to Pencoed. We stopped off at Llangollen, where the river was wild and the canal was calm, as this picture shows:

Then we moved along a bit for a view of Thomas Telford’s remarkable aqueduct, a clearer view of some scenery we enjoyed on the way up, and then retured to base. Some wine may have been consumed.
