The weather was a bit odd today. Partly clear, odd bits of rain, and once again some quite nice clouds in the fading light:

I like the contrast between the dark clouds in the foreground, the fading blue of the sky and that little bit of red over to the left.

Back down again today, which is an encouraging start to the week. I didn’t quite get it together to walk to work this morning, but I did manage a moderate walk at lunchtime:

I took the 5D Mk II with me, fitted with my hardly used Lensbaby, which I fitted with its Pinhole/Zone Plate module. There’s something delightfully perverse about using a moderately serious bit of kit like my Canon with something as definitively low-tech as what amounts to a hole. Most of the pictures were, as you might expect, a bit on the rubbish side, but I rather like the way the reflections create circular flares in this image of the Sage:
