What’s this? For my first weight-inclusive daily report in over a week, I have some good news – down a whole pound since I went away! Admittedly, that’s a possibly a bit dehydrated weight after a long train journey, but it’s still pretty good after a week of eating out a lot…
The day started early and wet with a walk from my brother’s house to the station in Pencoed. Did I say wet? It was pouring down. Again. As it has over most of the country for the last week or so. I blame all those southerners for complaining about a drought. I learned today that my suitcase is not entirely waterproof, as I had a slightly damp shirt in there that was perfectly dry when I packed it, mutter. And when I say “slightly damp”, I mean “bloody wet”.
Anyway, enough of all that, and on to today’s picture, which is a detail of one of several sculptures on and around Queen Street in Cardiff.

Both Wales (my original home) and the North East (my adopted home) have plenty of water, so we really didn’t need the extra, thanks
