As I mentioned a while ago, I’ve been adding EXIF data below the photographs I post here. I’ve now turned on another bit of that, so that any pictures which I’ve geotagged will include the location where the image was captured which links to Google Maps.
Talking of geotagging, which I have once or twice, I’m finding the Map module in Lightroom 4 to be quite adequate for my needs, so I no longer use a plugin. It’s a simple matter to import the GPX file created by Garmin BaseCamp, and then let it tag the images, which appear on the map. It’s just as simple to move any images which end up in the wrong place, or for which there is no data. Nice.
