Steps taken: 10,151
Exercise: Moderate walk

Up just another wee bit today, mutter.

After the usual shopping trip[1] and an unusual bit of work-related stuff[2], I decided to go out for a bit, before the threatened snow arrived[3]. I took the bus into Newcastle, then battled my way along Northumberland Street[4] and paid a visit to the Great North Museum (or the Hancock as I still prefer to call it, if only on grounds of brevity), where I saw my old friend Rex:

After a bit of a wander there, I walked along Percy Street, taking a side trip via Blackfriars

And from there I headed for the Discovery Museum, which had some nice clouds behind it:

and after a wander there, I headed back to Market Street and got the bus home. According to the Garmin thingy, that was a moderately decent walk:

[1] Just a few more months before these revert to much shorter trips  :bouncy:
[2] Colleagues working in Manchester needed some assistance with a wee problemette that remarkably wasn’t solved by turning it off and on again[5]
[3] Previous forecast was for snow today and tomorrow. It seems to have been postponed because of the weather. Or something like that
[4] Masses of slow-moving people…
[5] It was more complicated than that, which is why they called me…
