Ho hum, down again today. Reports may be a bit approximate for the next day or two, as I have a fun[1] weekend working in Leeds that I didn’t know I was doing until Tuesday or thereabouts. Still, never mind. There are worse fates. Apparently.

While I was asleep, the expected maintenance upgrade to WordPress 3.5 was released. This fixes some bugs and some security issues, which makes it a strongly recommended update.

Details from the development blog and even more detail in the codex. The upgrade will be on offer in the dashboard for most users, otherwise follow the links for download locations.

If you happen to be running WordPress on a Windows server running IIS, make sure to read the notes first – there is a problem which will prevent an automatic upgrade working properly.

No apparent issues here, anyway.
