That’s rather a big drop today, which seems a bit odd. Either I’m fluctuating more wildly than usual, or perhaps I have a case of #scalefail. I’ll just have to see how the numbers look over the next few days.
There was a fair bit of cold wind and patchy rain today, which was mildly unpleasant, but never mind, there’s more snow coming, what fun!
Today’s picture is an interesting object to be found on the riverside path in Durham. The last time I saw it, I wasn’t at all sure what it was, or why it was there. I’ve since learned that it’s one of the old pinnacles from the cathedral, which has been replaced with new stone as part of the continuous operation of maintenance and repair. I’m still not entirely sure why it’s where it is, but it makes an interesting marker…
