After the usual hotel breakfast, I checked out and walked to the office and Got Things Done. I had a short walk at lunchtime, then got More Things Done. Fortunately, the monitors I’d ordered turned up in time for me to connect them to the computers. I then walked at maximum speed back to the hotel to collect my suitcase, then walked even faster to the station, where I arrived just in time to see the previous train leave a bit late, meaning that I had to wait a few minutes for the train I needed to catch. Good job, as otherwise I’d have had an hour to wait. After that, the trip to Pencoed went as expected, and my brother[1] and I have had a nice quiet evening with some spaghetti bolognese and a glass[2] or two of wine.

Today’s picture is from Bristol’s Harbourside area. The boat is a floating cafe bar thingy that looks more interesting in the dark, when it’s nicely illuminated. I may get a picture of that on a future visit.
