Up another teeny bit today, which was rather a long one. Headed out an hour earlier than normal to get a train to Leeds for a nearly all-day meeting. This was actually moderately interesting, and may lead to interesting things (or may not, depending). I stayed in Leeds afterwards to catch up on my email and a few other things, then got the 4:28 train home. This normally gets into Newcastle at about 6:10, which wouldn’t have been too bad. As it happened, it got in about 15 minutes late, which still wouldn’t have been too bad, but the looooong wait for a bus was quite nasty. Apparently some people wanted to get into town to watch some other people kick a ball around, and this led to gridlocked traffic. So I eventually got home at about 7:20, which didn’t make me very happy at all. Mutter.
Today’s photo is an attempted macro shot form a few weeks ago. It’s not quite what I was aiming for, but never mind, more practice needed, etc…
