Temenos was the first of a planned series of five sculptures to be known as the Tees Valley Giants, but what with money and all that, it seems that funding for the others won’t be appearing any time soon. A shame, I think. We could do with more big bold artistic thingies in public places, if only to keep photographers busy finding an angle that everyone else hasn’t captured a thousand times before…
