So, the autofocus is a bit quicker then…

You know how there are times when you see something that you’ve just got to photograph, but you can’t quite catch it? Well, I thought I had one of those today. I’d just come out of the St David’s Centre, planning to walk to the Plan Café. At this point, my camera was in my bag. Cover closed. Not actually latched, but closed.

I heard a noise from the left, looked, and as quickly as I could pulled out the X-T1 and fired off a sequence of shots, tracking from left to right. You don’t always see this kind of thing in Cardiff[1], so here we go. Both images have been cropped but are otherwise straight out of camera.

So it does seem that the X-T1 is doing a nice job…

[1] And I have a vague suspicion that you’re not supposed to, either….
