Well, today’s just back from Bristol weight is down nearly two pounds on my just before going to Bristol measurement. Of course, that’s a weight taken after a long train journey, so some dehydration may have to be taken into account, but it is a new low for the year, and indeed the lowest weight since almost exactly five years ago, when I had a brief blip that was probably related to a lot of walking.
Today started in Penoced, where I made the mistake of getting myself organised and out in time to catch the 8:14 train to Cardiff, with the intention of catching the 9:00 train to Bristol. Of course, the 9:00 was cancelled, so I had to wait for the 9:30, which was not only a bit crowded because of the cancelled earlier train, but also because it had only two coaches instead of the usual three. Anyway, I got to Bristol, did some work-related stuff, and left in plenty of time to get the 13:30 train home. No trouble with the trip, the train got into Newcastle more or less on time, and I got to the bus stop less than a minute before the bus.
Today’s photo is a landscape-type thingy – it’s a view of Bala Lake, given a bit of a dramatic B&W treatment:
