OK, these are some of the people and things that have helped me create the site. Links given where appropriate:

• WordPress – well, duh. But seriously, it’s a pleasure to work with, and generally does what I want without causing me excess pain.
• Gallery2 – nifty photograph management and display application.
• WPG2 – integrates WordPress and Gallery2 very nicely.
• The Support Forums – some incredibly dedicated and helpful people have taught me a lot. Mostly by me reading other people’s questions and suggestions. When I have the time or energy, I answer a few questions myself, which either means I’ve learned more about WordPress or my ego has expanded.
• Plugins. One of the great things about WordPress is the way it offers hooks for developers to add new functions. Some of these are quite simple, others are much more complex and add something special. I’ve even managed to throw one together myself, so it can’t be that hard. You can have a look at the list of plugins currently in use if you like.
• Tags, a core WordPress feature these days, managed with help from Simple Tags.
• Videos added with incredible ease thanks to Viper’s Video Quicktags.
• Weight displayed by Get Custom Field Values and filled in thanks to More Fields.
• Spam blockage thanks to Akismet and Bad Behavio(u)r
