I’ve been a fan of Wolf Blass wines for quite a few years now, particularly the rather delightful Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon, which has been a particular favourite of mine since I first sampled it at a work do. I’m pleased to say that the 2002 vintage (the one on general sale now) has now matured to the point where it’s as rich and wonderful as some of the previous years I’ve enjoyed. If you like full-bodied Australian red wines, this is as good as any in its price range, and a lot better than most. Better than some costing a lot more, even. Available from Oddbins and Tesco amongst other places. My preference is for Tesco, as I get Clubcard points, and if I spend over £99 delivery is free…
What with all the travel to London and a wee bit more social activity than used to be the case, my exercise programme has been suffering lately. It’s been harder to make myself do the work, which is not so good. I’m told by people who know about these things that an occasional break can be a Good Thing, but I’ve been breaking more than doing lately.
What’s worse is that because of all the rain we’ve been having lately, I haven’t even been walking to work as much – I’ve had to catch the bus on more occasions in the last couple of weeks than in the last six months, which is quite ridickerous.
Once I manage to start exercsing, I have no trouble going through the whole routine, but actually getting started is the problem at the moment. Managed three days last week, and also last night. I’m planning to do some more tonight, but then I won’t have a chance until Thursday, unless I’m still tired from the London trip.
I seem to be in the understatement mood again
Monday: early night becasue I’m catching the early train to London, then I’ll be in London on Tuesday and won’t get home till late evening on Wednesday.
 It’s my age, you know
Regular readers will have noticed a slight lack of updates over the last week or so. I had a bit of a tuit issue, but this morning I caught up on the backlog of weight reports, which I’m sure you’ve been eagerly awaiting.
More stuff will follow.
 All two of you
 Which probably includes me
Couldn’t find one at all, never mind the round one I needed
I don’t really need to explain that one, do I?
 Or not
Well, slightly up this morning at 199.8 pounds (14 stone 3.8 pounds, 90.6kg). Still under that 200 pound line, so I’m happy with that.
