Well, having had a relaxed afternoon off, I managed to get it together this evening and made a gentle start on the old exercise programme. As it’s been weeks since I did anything other than the odd bit of walking, I decided it would be better to start off slowly and get used to a level of activity before building up to the full routine.
So, got on the exercise bike and did the usual 10km. Now the plan is to do the same for as many nights I can for the next week or so, then start to add in more elements over the following weeks.
Well, that’s the theory, anyway.
