Still under control

Another small rise today to 200.8 pounds (14 stone 4.8 pounds, 91.1kg).

You[1] may have noticed that Losing it[1] has been a bit quiet lately. I’ll try to catch up before I head to TechEd. I’ve no idea how much time I’ll have for posting while I’m there…

[1] The thousands of regular readers

Better than expected

Well, despite some rather nice Chinese food and a few drinks[1] last night, this morning’s weight was up just a wee bit to 200.4 pounds (14 stone 4.4 pounds, 90.9kg), which is quite acceptable.

Had the day off as I needed a break after last weekend, and to get some things organised for my little trip to Amsterdam. Unusually for me, I managed to do all the things I’d planned[3], so I decided to finally get round to seeing Star Wars Episode III. And that’s all I’m going to say about that movie. :uhoh:

[1] And a few drinks[2]
[2] etc
[3] Well, if you really want to know – arranged travel insurance, bought a suitcase, that kind of thing..

And down again

Hmmm. Not sure what’s going on here, but Tuesday’s enthralling figure was down again to 199.6 pounds (14 stone 3.6 pounds, 90.5kg).

Might well be higher tomorrow, as I’m going out for a meal and a drink or two….

Back on track…

…even though I haven’t been on a train today  This morning’s weight was down quite noticably to 200.2 pounds (14 stone 4.2 pounds, 90.8kg).

Today was warm and sunny, so the walk to and from work was very nice[1]. And the extra walk to Tesco’s to do the shopping I would have done on Saturday if I hadn’t been working in Manchester wasn’t bad either.

[1] Listening to Madness on the MP3 player worked nicely for that

Manchester causes weight gain

Well, that’s my excuse. My weight on returning home from the weekend working in Manchester[1] was up from Friday morning’s figure at 202.4 pounds (14 stone 6.4 pounds, 91.8kg).

[1] Technical computery stuff. Seemed to work. :eek2:

Levelling off, or something

No change on the weight front this morning – still at 201.0 pounds (14 stone 5 pounds, 91.2kg), which is acceptable for now.

It’s been another warm and sunny day, without the grey start that we had the last couple of days, which made the walk to and from work a lot more pleasant. But the weather is likely to change in the next couple of days, as there’s a traditional rain-making ritual going on in another part of the country. Mutter.

Don’t expect a lot of activity here for the next few days – I’ll be working in Manchester this weekend, and I probably won’t have time to post anything. And you’ll have to wait till Monday for the next enthralling Losing it[1] weight report. I do hope that won’t be too disappointing for you.

Yawwwwwn

Mutter. Didn’t get a lot of sleep last night. I went to bed at a suitably sensible hour, fell asleep, then woke up at jsut before 4am. And could I heck as like[1] get back to sleep, mutter. Read for a while, dozed a bit[2] and then had to face the day. So now I’m tired…

On a brighter note, this morning’s weight was down to 201.0 pounds (14 stone 5 pounds, 91.2kg).

[1] Traditional expression :cheesy:
[2] I think I did, anyway

No real change

This morning’s weight was down a whisker to 202.2 pounds (14 stone 6.2 pounds, 91.7kg).

Did another 10km on the exercise bike, with a peak heart rate of 140, which is probably due to it being a bit warm this evening. Talking of the weather, I thought the summer was over when I got up this morning. It was damp, overcast and generally not very nice. But by lunchtime[1] it had cleared up, sun shining, and all that kind of thing. The walk home was very pleasant, too.

[1] A rather nice item from those Subway people.

Shocking Grammar Abuse!

I saw this sign in the window of the Post Office in Newcastle.

Consistant

I’m not sure what’s worse – removing a useful service and claiming it’s for our own good, or the spelling. Don’t they have speelchuckers in the Post Office?
