Just before I go again

Humph. Friday morning’s weight was 199.8 pounds (14 stone 3.8 pounds, 90.6kg). That’s just before heading off for four days in London. Four nights in a hotel, four hotel breakfasts, four restaurant dinners, two meals on trains, and possibly a drink or two. I may weigh a bit more when I get back. :???:

At least this should be the last working weekend for a while. Next weekend is definitely not going to involve going to work. Not sure about the one after, though. :uhoh:

It’s a bit damp…

This morning’s weight was down a wee bit to 199.2 pounds (14 stone 3.2 pounds, 90.4kg).

The lovely summer weather is, well, somewhat absent at present. It’s been raining a lot here, and apparently there was a tornado in Birmingham :eek2:

Off to London tomorrow for another weekend’s work, and I’ll be staying there until Tuesday.

Still tired…

This morning’s weight was up to 199.6 pounds (14 stone 3.6 pounds, 90.5kg), which isn’t too bad considering I had a nice meal last night and one or two[1] drinks.

Even though I went to bed late last night[2], I still woke up far too early this morning. Had the day off, but didn’t have the energy to do very much other than get some shopping done.

I had vaguely planned to go down to the river to look at the Tall Ships, but just couldn’t get it together. :sad: Judging by the crowds in Newcastle over the last few days, I probably wouldn’t have got within 20 metres of a ship anyway….

Back to work tomorrow, then off to London on Friday.

After that, things should get a bit more normal, and I might get some more rest.

And then I might manage to write the book reviews I’ve been meaning to do for a while.

Tired, tired, tired….

This morning’s weight was up a wee bit to 198.6 pounds (14 stone 2.6 pounds, 90.1kg). Still under the 200 pounds level, so it’s OK.

All the extra hours work are catching up on me – felt tired all day, but I’m still having a night out.

Back again

Well, after a busy weekend working in Leeds, my weight today was back up to 199.2 pounds (14 stone 3.2 pounds, 90.4kg). Not bad considering there were two nice restaurant meals with colleagues…

Down for the weekend

Hmmm, time to catch up on some missing days, before I have some more.

Friday’s weight was down again to 197.8 pounds (14 stone 1.8 pounds, 89.7kg).

No reports until Monday, it’s another working weekend – in Leeds this time.

I hate printers…

More fun and games at work, sorting out this and that. Most of the problems related to printers, which are the only things worse than computers. I wouldn’t have anything to do with them, if I were you.

This morning’s weight was back up again to 199.2 pounds (14 stone 3.2 pounds, 90.4kg), still below 200 pounds, so I’m not concerned, especially as I’m not getting much exercise at present. Once again, I gave up the attempt to walk home and got the bus from Gateshead.

Tomorrow afternoon we’ll be off to Leeds for another fun working weekend, so don’t expect any more posts here before Sunday.

I’ve got loads of things I want to review, but I can’t quite get it together at present. Abnormal service will be resumed sometime or other.

Yay! Day off

Shame I was a bit too tired to do very much with it other than a bit of shopping. The morning weight figure was down a bit to 198.4 pounds (14 stone 2.4 pounds, 90.0kg), which was a good start.

I did think about going to see a film, to make the most of the day off, but didn’t have the energy (and falling asleep in the cinema is so embarrassing, isn’t it?

Another busy day

This morning’s weight was up a wee bit to 199.6 pounds (14 stone 3.6 pounds, 90.5kg). Spent the day running around fixing problems again (on my own, as Aaron had a much-needed day off). By the end of the day, I was seriously tired, so I only walked as far as Gateshead bus station and got the bus (as you do) from there.

Day off tomorrow.

Long day

Well, the weekend work caught up with me on Sunday evening to the extent that I had to go to bed at 9:30, which is redickerously early for me. But I needed the sleep, and as I had to make an early start today, going to bed early was definitely a Good Thing. This morning’s weight was down a wee bit to 199.2 pounds (14 stone 3.2 pounds, 90.4kg), so that’s not so bad.

Having made lots of changes to the computer systems[1] at the weekend, I spent today running around helping people find things they needed, fixing a few problems here and there and generally being insanely busy. My assistant Aaron was doing much the same in a smaller office in the morning, before returning to Newcastle to help me in the afternoon. Tomorrow I’ll be on my own, but things should be quieter than today. I hope so, anyway…
