Well, I gave myself a good talking to after last Saturday’s post, and decided to make an effort to lose some of those extra pounds. And on Monday, I made a start.
For the first time in what seems like ages, I walked to and from work every day this week. Even today, when it rained on me all the way there. And I’ve been good at lunchtime, too. From Monday to Thursday, I just had a sarnie – no sausage rolls, no cheese and onion bakes, or any of that. Today, I had a business lunch, but that was a nice healthy mushroom thingy with some garlic bread. And salad.
Monday’s weight 211.8 pounds (15 stone 1.8 pounds, 96.1kg)
Friday’s weight: 208.6 pounds (14 stone 12.6 pounds, 94.6kg)
That’s still way too heavy, but it’s a good step in the right direction.
