Edinburgh – first picture

It’s going to take me a while to sort though, tidy up and fix the pictures, never mind write a report, but just to keep the eager hordes of Losing it[1] readers happy, here’s a sample of the work so far. This is a picture of the National Monument[1] on Calton Hill.

Not bad, but the car on the left, and that road sign spoil it a bit. Here’s my attempt at removing them. I still need more practice, but this isn’t too bad for a beginner with Photoshop[2].

[1] A memorial to those who died in the Napoleonic Wars. It was going to be a copy of the Parthenon, but they ran out of money after the first twelve pillars. It’s referred to as “Edinburgh’s Disgrace”
[2] That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it :tongue:
