It seems the unusually warm weather we’ve been having is likely to continue, according to this BBC report.
All very nice in some ways, but it’s not without its problems. Power cuts in parts of London because people are using their air-conditioning at maximum power, violent storms in other parts of the country, mixed results for farmers and health problems for various people.
Still, we only get a summer like this once in every ten years or so.
That’s one of those understatement thingies
Mutter, mutter, mutter. Yesterday, I said that I’d be going to North Tyneside today if the weather was suitable. I had it all planned, too. I was going to take the Metro to Monkseaton or thereabouts, then walk to the lighthouse at St Mary’s Island. After a good look at that, I was going to walk down to Tynemouth for a nice walk around the Priory.
Well, the weather turned out well enough, but unfortunately, I woke up with my right knee hurting a bit. Well, quite a lot, especially when I did anything silly like walking, or going up and down stairs. So I decided to postpone the trip. The best I could manage was a brief trip to the MetroCentre.
Ah well, maybe tomorrow.
Yes, it’s another one of those silly tests. I’m not at all sure about the accuracy of this one, though.
You Are 55% Normal
While some of your behavior is quite normal…
Other things you do are downright strange
You’ve got a little of your freak going on
But you mostly keep your weirdness to yourself
Me?? 55% normal??? Who’da thunk it?
