It’s been a while since I last sampled a bottle of the Wolf Blass President’s Selection Shiraz, but as the old wine rack is a bit on the empty side at present, and I wanted a glass of wine this evening, it seemed like a suitable time to open a bottle. It’s actually over four months since the last one, which is longer than I thought I’d hold out.
I’m pleased to say that it’s still improving. So good, in fact, that I’m taking my time over the one glass I’m having tonight, leaving the rest of the bottle for tomorrow. I might even manage to stretch it to Wednesday. And I still have two more bottles of this lovely stuff, which I’ll try to keep for another three or four months. Actually, I think I’ll put one of them into the special part of the wine rack reserved for bottles I’m leaving to mature, along with that one remaining bottle of the 2002 Yellow Label.
 Yes, really! One glass!
And I’m not doing a Tommy Cooper “glass, bottle, bottle, glass” routine
