I needed to get into work early this morning, so I got the bus. It was a grey, windy start to the day, so I wouldn’t have felt very motivated to work in any case.
But by home time, the day had changed completely. The sky cleared, and the sun was bright and warm again, so I had no trouble persuading myself that walking home would be a good idea. And as it was so nice, I made it a long walk with the camera. I finally got round to taking a picture of something interesting on Pilgrim Street before crossing the Tyne Bridge.
Overall, my normal half hour walk turned into an hour, but that was fine. It was nice to be out and about in the sun after a day at my desk.
Today’s weight was up a bit, which isn’t unusual after a moderately lazy weekend. More walking to come!
And you’ll have to wait to find out what it is!
