Another photographic experiment

On one of my walks last week, I passed through Newcastle’s coach station, which features this rather nice glass screen. It looked like an interesting thing to photograph, so I turned my wide angle lens on it, and this is what I ended up with.

I cropped the picture down to remove the rest of the coach station and the buildings behind it, then straightened the image a bit to remove the distortion that occurs at the wide end of the wide lens, and finally gave it a slightly different touch with a spot of selective colour. Basically, I turned off all the colours except blue, which I boosted slightly to make the glass stand out a bit.
