WordPress 2.2.3 is out

WordPress 2.2.3 was released a few hours ago. All WordPress 2.1.x and 2.2.x users are advised to upgrade, as there are a couple of security fixes in this release. You have been warned. Even if you’re planning to upgrade to WordPress 2.3 when it comes out in a couple of weeks, it’s a good idea to keep your site up to date.

This does not appear to affect the 2.0.x branch of WordPress, so if you’re still over there, provided you installed the last update, you should be fine.

Users with shell access can upgrade in seconds with the help of Bryan Layman’s really quite lovely EasyWPUpdate script, which is my standard method for keeping Losing it[1] up to date.
