OK, insert all the usual clauses about daily variations, probably heavier tomorrow, and all that. But today’s weight is significantly lower than yesterday’s, and is the lowest since I started trying to lose the flab again at the beginning of October. In fact, as of today, I have lost ten whole pounds, which is a good bit of progress. I’m now only 3.2 pounds (1.5kg) heavier than my lowest weight of the year so far, which was back in January. Or to put a slightly less positive spin on it, I’m the same weight I was a year ago.
I walked to work this morning, and surprised myself by walking home as well. I hadn’t actually planned that, I just turned left (towards the bridge) rather than right (towards the bus stop) when I left the office. I got home just before the wind started getting violent, which was lucky.
