Another Small Change

I’ve replaced the built-in WordPress search thingy with a new improved one provided by Google. This should give quicker and more detailed results, as Google’s index of this site is rather better than the one it creates for itself[1]. The results will appear on a page on this site, but are otherwise standard Google stuff. If you happen to click on the adverts on a search result page, I get a cut of the revenue. That’s not a request for extreme clickage, more a disclaimer thingy.

[1] This isn’t altogether unusual, for instance if I want to find something on microsoft.com, I generally find that Google actually gives me what I’m looking for, while Microsoft’s own search always tended to miss things. Now they’ve tarted it up with Live Search, it can be worse, as it helpfully gives you results from other sites…
