I went for a lunchtime walk with my little Canon A460 yesterday, and took a few picture of the City Library development. I’ll post them (and some others that have been waiting for a while) when I find some more tuits, bit I thought I’d put this one on show now. The light was bright, the sky was blue and the reflection looked rather nice.
Once again, this was taken with the camera on auto. It’s been cropped and given minimal adjustment in Lightroom before being uploaded to Flickr. I rather like this little camera – it’ll never replace my DSLR, but it’s good to know I can get quite useful results from something I can take with me pretty much anywhere. Taking the 30D always requires planning – do I take it, which lenses, which bag, is the battery charged – but this little thing just goes in whatever bag I’m carrying, or into a pocket. While the wide angle isn’t as wide as I might like, and the long end isn’t as long as might be nice, it’s a good compromise, and a great backup camera.
