Ooopsie, up again.
On the more positive side, for the first time in what seems like ages, I went for a proper lunchtime walk with the 30D. I went to:
- The new Newcastle City Library, which is looking quite lovely now all the boards, barriers and scaffolds have gone
- Haymarket Metro Station, where the new building is now really looking like an actual building rather than a framework
- Newcastle University, where the most prominent new building is looking quite good too
- Eldon Square, where the new bit is also looking impressive
And all these places have something in common – lots of reflective glass, which means there will be lots of interesting pictures to be taken. Well, for people who like reflections, which I do. Pictures will start appearing as I get to them.
