I was just about to go to bed when I happened to look out of the window and saw that it was snowing again. It had tried a bit earlier today, but it didn’t settle, presumably because it was too warm at ground level. Later, the snow gave up and turned into a dull, grey drizzle.
But while I wasn’t paying attention, the snow returned:
If that keeps up, it’s going to be pretty deep by morning…
The picture was taken using my lovely Canon 50mm f/1.8 II lens at its maximum aperture, which is why you can see so much. I used a custom while balance in Lightroom to make the orange cast from the streetlights go away, and enhance the whiteness of the snow.
