Photoshop CS5 – Looking Useful

It was nearly a month ago that I mentioned the new Content Aware Fill feature coming to Photoshop, and since then I’ve seen some more demos which suggest that this really is going to be a huge time saver. But that’s not all. One thing that’s always been fiddly and time-consuming is making a selection of something that doesn’t have a nice clean edge to it – hair, for instance. Well, that looks like getting a lot simpler, as this demo proves:

Photoshop CS5, and the rest of the suite for people who need more than just image editing, is expected to be available by early May, though when I placed my order[1], Adobe’s site suggested that the download might be available as soon as 30 April. :bouncy:

[1] I didn’t bother upgrading from CS3 to CS4 because there just wasn’t enough to make it worth the cost for me. This time it’s different…
