One thing that I did like about using Safari is the quick shortcut for sending a link to a page in a new email message – just press Cmd+Shift+I and up pops your new message with the url nicely added in the body.
Firefox lacks a keyboard shortcut for that. Which is annoying. And it takes no notice of any system settings you might add – Mac OS X has a nice, easy to use facility for editing keyboard shortcuts to suit your way of working – which is even more annoying.
I’ve searched for solutions before, buy never found one. Until this morning, when I found a post by Robert Bernabé, which solves the problem completely. You need to install a Firefox extension, and set up a shortcut using that. Which works. Woo, hoo, etc.
