Aaaaand back up again today.
Here’s another Tynemouth picture, from the magazine under the guns. You can see the lifts used to raise the shells and cartridges (kept separate until needed, which seems quite sensible) from the magazine to the guns. And you can see these shells.
It’s actually not very light down there, but the Canon 5D MkII’s high ISO setting allowed me to get this nicely detailed image. I let Lightroom reduce the small degree of noise that was present.
