Hmmm, down again today.
I went into Newcastle this afternoon, rather than going further afield. I had a bit of shopping to do, needed to pop into the bank and renew my bus pass, all those non-exciting things one has to do now and then.
While I was out, I went to the Discovery Museum for the first time since, err, last time. This turned out to be a good move, as there’s an excellent temporary exhibition on the Tyne Bridges – lots of old paintings, prints, photographs and video and moderately good explanatory text. Well worth a visit for that alone, but there’s lots more to see.
I also found out that work has now started on the Newcastle Hotel Chocolat shop
