Today’s fun and games started in Porthmadog, with a stroll around the harbour. There, I spotted something surprising. Has the Doctor finally got round to fixing his chameleon circuit?
In case you can’t quite make out the name, here’s a closer look:
Not much of a disguise, really, what with the name on it and all.
After that, it was time for a ride on the Welsh Mountain Railway to Caernarvon. There was more heavy rain along the way, but it was quite nice when we got there. I got some pictures of the castle before we got back on the train.
Then we had a brief visit to Portmeirion, which is just as bonkers in the flesh as it appeared to be in The Prisoner. Pictures of that will follow when I’m not on a 3G dongle.
Then it was back to the B&B to freshen up before a meal at the local Indian restaurant, where the food was good and the staff friendly and attentive. Nice.
