Up just a wee bit today. No walking because I had a rare “work at home” day, which reminded me that when I should do that more often, especially when I want to get some actual work done with no noise and better coffee. And I actually spent more hours doing work stuff than I do in a normal day at work, oddly enough.
There was a good reason for working at home today – I was expecting something to be delivered, and once I knew the delivery date, I cunningly booked the annual service on my central heating boiler for the same day. And quite remarkably, it all worked according to plan – the boiler was serviced, and the delivery turned up as expected. And here it is:
Yes, it’s my new phone The iPhone 4S which is replacing my iPhone 3GS, which has worked very well for me.
I’d been expecting to have a new one earlier in the year, but as Apple decided to confuse everyone by not bringing out a new model in June or July, I decided to wait. My waiting ended a week ago, when I was able to place an order. So what’s in the box?
Yes, it’s the usual stuff: USB to dock cable, power plug, minimal instructions, the traditional Apple stickers, the usual headset, the shiny SIM removal tool and a shiny new phone. I went for the white one this time, and went for the maximum 64GB storage model, which seemed like a good idea.
I’ll be having a proper play with it later, and giving that improved camera a proper test too. but for now, here’s a closer view with another camera visible
