That’s better, back down again today. I walked to work again, and this time the Garmin Fit app didn’t get confused at all, as the evidence shows.
And I had another moderately long walk at lunchtime, walking through the city centre, past St James’ Park, then through Leazes Park and back to work, as you can see here.
I took a few pictures with the iPhone while I was walking, and once again, I was pleased with some of the results, such as this one of the lake in Leazes Park, which shows some good clear reflections.
I may well have said this before, but I’ll say it anyway – the camera in the iPhone 4S is what I would call good enough to make my little compact camera completely redundant. And it’s nice to know that I’ve got a moderately useful camera with me at all times.
While I’m not a football fan myself, I do feel a lot of sympathy for the fans who are not at all amused at the renaming of their sacred site, so I’m not mentioning the new name at all.
 So to speak.
