Weight and Stuff Report – 5 January 2012

Err, yes. That’s a rather large fluctuation today, which may be related to me eating a rather large portion of chilli and a garlic baguette last night. I’m sure it’ll head back downwards in the next day or so.

It was seriously windy last night, and it looks like damage was done here and there. For instance, there was a car number plate lying on the pavement near my house. That would have been a nasty thing to be flying through the air…

The wind had died down by the time I walked to work this morning, though it seems I had a bit of a GPSFAIL, as the Garmin app seemed to fail to notice that I was moving for most of the time, leading to this unlikely speed record:

Fast or what?

Fast or what?

As usual, you can see the whole report, or just admire the summary thingy here:

Today’s picture is a view of the tidied up Pilgrim Street demolition site. On the left is the old Bank of England, which will be removed shortly, and on the right are some buildings that are probably going to come down soon. There are no immediate plans for building on the site, so it’ll probably be either landscaped into a little park or used for parking cars until somebody with a lot of money decides to do something…
