Good, good, down a bit more today. Let’s try to keep that up. Err, down, err, you know what I mean.
It was quite cold today but perfectly clear and sunny, so I decided it was a good day for a walk. After dithering a bit about where to go, I eventually tool the Metro to Seaburn, walked down to the seafront, then along to Roker, where I even ventured onto the pier, dodging the anglers and the incoming waves. From there, I walked around Sunderland Marina for the first time since 2006, then along the riverside to the Wearmouth Bridge and then up to St Peter’s for the Metro back home. The Garmin thingy assures me that this came to nearly five and a half miles, which isn’t bad at all. Map thingy below
