Locus Photo and Ephemera Archive Project

This is another Kickstarter project I’m happy to support. Locus is a quite significant news magazine covering the field of science fiction, and has a rather large[1] archive of pictures, documents, and well, stuff. They’re seeking funding[2] to digitise all this stuff and make it more widely available, which is the kind of thing I approve of very much indeed – the thought of historical documents and pictures only existing in one physical location is something that strikes me as deeply wrong.

Since Neil Gaiman tweeted about it, the project has passed its target, so will be going ahead. I’ve pledged an amount that will be useful to the project and will get me some nice stuff, so everyone benefits.

If you’re an sf fan[3], it’s not too late to contribute and get some stuff.

[1] This may be an understatement
[2] Target now nicely passed, but because of the way Kickstarter works, you can still play
[3] And if you’re not, what’s wrong with you?!?
