Bother, up again today.
After doing the usual boring shopping thing, I decided that as it was a moderately nice day, to get out somewhere. That somewhere ended up being the Blue Reef Aquarium in Tynemouth. I hadn’t been there in a very long time, so it made a change. It was also a chance to do some high ISO shooting with the 5D Mark III, which let me get this picture of a wolffish, otherwise known as a creature from your nightmares:
Shutter speed: 1/40s
Focal length: 105mm
This nautilus could probably have done with an even higher ISO setting to get the exposure time down a bit more, as it’s a wee bit soft, but it does show more detail than I could actually see…
Shutter speed: 1/10s
Focal length: 92mm
After the aquarium, I walked down to the Priory for a quick visit, then got the Metro home.
Here’s the walk:
Kingston Park again, but I should be able to manage with a visit to somewhere smaller and closer next time
When it had a different name, if memory serves
