Oh dear, back up a bit today. If I hadn’t needed to get into work a bit earlier today[1], it would have been a good morning for a walk, with a mostly clear blue sky. Naturally, by lunchtime it was back to being cloudy…

Today’s picture is a special treat for the frequent stalker commenter who likes to be known as “Phredd”. You might recall that he was a little confused about which way up a nautilus was in a recent post. Well, here’s another inhabitant of the Blue Reef aquarium. This seal was indeed swimming upside down, which caused much amusement to some of the visitors
