Up a wee bit more today, mutter, mutter.
I had another lunchtime walk today, and it was a somewhat longer one than yesterday’s:
I had a good look at the Bank of England demolition job, and noticed for the first time that Bank House is getting distinctly smaller – they’re doing the same kind of job there that made the dreadful Westgate House go away, with all the action happening behind covers. Pictures of that will follow, subject to tuits and the like. I also confirmed that the O*l*m*i* rings on the Tyne Bridge are complete, and I was shocked to see an actual (and quite fancy if you’re into that sort of thing) boat parked at the new marina.
More of that will follow, but for now, here’s a lovely notice on the door of a bar on Dean Street:
Observant readers will notice the reflected photographer, and the arm of the barman who was quite excitedly waving.
Or “Ital” as it should be called
This is a very old car joke. If you don’t get it, you’re not old enough
