Back up a bit more today, which is probably a reasonable sign of recovery from weekend lugry. However, now that’s out of the way, the slight sniffle I had last week has turned into a bit of cough. A bit of a wake you up five times in the night to cough so hard you can hardly breathe, that is. Lovely. It hasn’t been quite so bad during the day, but that may change…
Nothing else to report, so here’s a picture of one of the interesting buildings on Dean Street

I’ve been meaning to mention this, but it somehow slipped off my tuit list. Scott Kelby, who’s generally a Good Thing, has been organising a World Wide Photo Walk for the last few years. This involves groups of people getting together near wherever they happen to be and then have a walk and take pictures. Nice idea, and knowing that people all over the world are doing the same thing on the same day makes it quite an event. Up until now, nobody had organised one near me, so I just got to read about it and look at some of the pictures. But this year, it’s happening in Newcastle, and I’ve registered for it. If you’re a photographer and you’d like the chance to meet a random selection of other photographers and have a wander, check for an event near you, and go along if you can. It’s on Saturday October 13, and over 1100 walks have been arranged, so there may be one near you.
