Hmmm, down a bit today, which is a bit of a surprise, what with me having been to a party thingy last night, which may have involved some wine and a rather nice buffet.
Still haven’t managed to take any fresh pictures, so here’s one I took in January. This is one of my favourite bonkers buildings – it was, if memory serves, originally built for a gas company. Later in the 20th century, it was Wengers department store. After standing empty for a long time, it gained a new life as a Yates’s Wine Lodge. I just love the glorious details on the roof, and that lovely turret.
