Well, that was a good day out. Went to Cardiff Bay with my brother for a visit to the Doctor Who Experience followed by lunch at Las Iguanas. A full report on the Doctorness will follow, but here’s a quick lunch report.
Service was prompt and friendly. The San Miguel was on draught and served in proper San Miguel glasses. And it was very gluggable. I had nachos to start, which were nicely presented, nicely crunchy and with all the usual bits and bobs. Geoff had the chicken wings with barbecue sauce, which were also nicely done and tasty, or so he tells me. For the main course, I had a chicken enchilada which was rather large and contained a generous amount of chicken as well as the usual peppers and stuff. This was served with rice and beans, and was very good indeed. Geoff had a chicken burger which contained a similarly large portion of chicken, and was reported to be very good.
It was my first visit to Las Iguanas, as I hadn’t found the tuits to visit the Newcastle branch. I’ll have to rectify that soon…
More pictures will follow, but here’s one of me and my new transport:
