But while I was having a look at it in Lightroom, I happend to zoom right in, and realised that the Fuji X100 had captured a surprising level of detail at the top of the column. Here’s a tightly cropped version. There’s a bit of softness on the Earl’s face, but otherwise it’s rather nice:
