Fame, of a local kind

A while back, I was approached and asked if I’d be prepared to allow the use of one of my Flickr pictures for a local publication in exchange for a credit showing my name and website. Well, being that kind of attention-seeking tart, I happily agreed, then promptly forgot all about it.

Well, that publication has now seen the light of day, and has been delivered through the letterboxes of homes in Low Fell, Saltwell, Bensham and other parts of Gateshead. And on page 10 of the first edition of The Fell magazine, there’s an article on Saltwell Towers, which includes this very photograph:
